DBUA fails with Errors PRCP-1013 , PRCR-1064, CRS-2552 while Upgrading a RACONENODE Database

Symptoms

Upgrading a RACONENODE DB from 11.2.0.3 to 12.1.0.2 using DBUA fails with below error

 

DBUA Trace.log shows the following lines-

[pool-4-thread-1] [ 2017-05-16 19:16:05.490 BST ] [CRSNative.genericStartResource:313] Failed to start resource: Name: ora.almprd.db, node: lxpora01d, filter: null, msg CRS-2552: There are no available instances of resource ‘ora.almprd.db’ to start.
[pool-1-thread-1] [ 2017-05-16 19:16:05.522 BST ] [Database.checkClusterDB:3685] Error in starting of database: almprd
[pool-1-thread-1] [ 2017-05-16 19:16:05.523 BST ] [Database.checkClusterDB:3686] PRCR-1013 : Failed to start resource ora.almprd.db
PRCR-1064 : Failed to start resource ora.almprd.db on node lxpora01d
CRS-2552: There are no available instances of resource ‘ora.almprd.db’ to start.
