Rman Connection reports error RMAN-06900 RMAN-06901 PLS-00905: object SYS.SYS is invalid and Backup Fails with RMAN-00601 RMAN-03004

Symptoms

Rman connection to target gives the below error though session gets connected and then the  Rman backup fails  RMAN-00601 RMAN-03004
