Applies to:MySQL Router - Version 2.1 to 2.1 [Release 2.1]
Information in this document applies to any platform.
MySQL Router is down with segfault if connection is increased.
The problem is that Router uses select() based fd event API to determine if there are pending events on fds.
This is limited to 1024 fds.
Due to above reason, Router limits its connections precisely to around 500 as it needs 2 sockets for each connection.
