Database Hangs With The Wait Event 'enq: MC - Securefile log' When Unified Auditing Is Enabled (Doc ID 2276241.1)

Symptoms

After enabling one or more Unified Auditing policies the 'enq: MC - Securefile log' wait event will be seen whenever the users will execute actions that are audited. If there will be many audited actions executed simultaneously at the database level or a purge operations is executed during peak hours, the users can experience database wide hangs whose hanganalyze traces will look similar to this :
