Symptoms
Database hangs due to RDS communication issues when a domU in an Exadata virtualized database server configuration is under memory pressure. There may also be DB node or instance level evictions due to the same issue.
Changes
Upgrade or install Exadata image version 12.2.1.1.0, 12.2.1.1.1, or 12.2.1.1.2 which comes with UEK4 Oracle Linux kernel.
