On BDA V4.8/CDH 5.10.1 Audit Events are Not Processed-They Fail with "ValueError: need more than 1 value to unpack" (Doc ID 2285804.1)

After upgrade to BDA V4.8/CDH 5.10.1 audit events are not processed.  They fail with the errors like below:

[08/Jun/2017 00:04:47 +0000] 26306 Audit-Plugin throttling_logger ERROR (352 skipped) Unable to send message to audit server for impala service.
