Oracle Database Cloud Schema Service - Version N/A and later
Oracle Database Exadata Cloud Machine - Version N/A and later
Oracle Cloud Infrastructure - Database Service - Version N/A and later
Oracle Database Backup Service - Version N/A and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

RHEL7/OL7 With DB, DNFS enabled

DNFS is using multiple paths configured in oranfstab. But it never marks the paths as “down” when they get physically disconnected, so the DB hangs[DML/DDL Operations] until the interface becomes available again.

"ifdown eth2" behaves in expected way, transactions continues through other available path.

server: test-filer
path: xx.xx.xx.xx
local: xx.xx.xx.xx
path: xx.xx.xx.xx
local: xx.xx.xx.xx<<<<<<<<<<<
export: /export/fra/ora mount: /oradata/fra

No errors were seen from any of the logs. Also the same setup work in expected way in RHEL6/OL6

Test failover scenario to confirm the high availability
