Symptoms
Queries to V$ASM_DISKGROUP & V$ASM_DISK were hanging
ASM session hung waiting for "PGA memory operation"
Issue started after creating ACFS volume
- ASM instance is started
- Hang while executing the below query
--> select name, compatibility, database_compatibility from v$asm_diskgroup;
Session wait event:
1099 PGA memory operation ash8vj2xng1s1 ACTIVE WAITED SHORT TIME
