Symptoms

After partition maintenance operation orphan index entries found in index view

Changes

Entry before partition maintenance operation

SQL> select index_name, orphaned_entries
2 from ind
3 where table_name='T';

INDEX_NAME ORP
------------------------------ ---
T_NAME_I NO

Entry after partition maintenance operation

SQL> alter table t move partition for('X') online update indexes tablespace
tc_small_quota;
alter table t move partition for('X') online update indexes tablespace
tc_small_quota
*
ERROR at line 1:
ORA-01536: space quota exceeded for tablespace 'TC_SMALL_QUOTA'
