Goal

This note helps in understanding   Redo Log Sizing for Oracle Streams Real-Time Replication .

OBSERVATION:

=============

In a  Streams real-time archivelog apply   having  a standby database  ,the update statements were getting processed only after a log switch .

Being a real-time archivelog apply configuration,the expected behavior is  that the update's should get replicated immediately .
