- Copy stats (dbms_stats.copy_stats) in 12c is performing poorly compared to 11g.
- As an example, in 11g a copy stats procedure takes 7hrs in total for several partitioned tables (where in 1 min, 3 subpartition stats are copied), but the procedure on 12c with the same objects and data takes 6 to 7hrs for one partitioned table
- AWR showsh the highest consuming sql to be recursive sql:
A change from 11g to 12c.
