CELL PATCHING FAILS WITH UNABLE TO CREATE GRUB.CONF ON USB (Doc ID 2296889.1)

Symptoms

As part of our patching routine, we've been applying and rolling back the cell patches for April QFSDP

Patching was failing with the following error on the Cell Server


Failed to preserve security identity for MS from old JKS format. It will be recreated automatically.

Changes

 Customer has applied April - 2017 patch (12.2.1.1.1.170419)>>> Rollback (12.1.2.3.3.161013) >>> Patch again (12.2.1.1.1.170419) >>> Rollback (12.1.2.3.3.161013) and while upgrading to (12.2.1.1.1.170419) again getting mentioned error
