Symptoms

Getting error on applying a patch because running datapatch failed

Trying to apply SQL patch (datapatch) failed with errors.
Tried to apply datapatch manually, but that also failed.

The error found in the opatch log and/or sqlpatch_invocation.log is
Queryable inventory could not determine the current opatch status.
