Purpose

An Active Directory (AD) certificate generated for use on the Mammoth cluster is a prerequisite for integrating Cloudera Manager with Active Directory on the cluster.

This note gives general guidelines for creating an AD certificate for use on the Mammoth environment. Follow the specific procedures for your environment.

Anyone integrating Cloudera Manager / Hue with Active Directory on the BDA.
