Symptoms


On 12c R2 no error occurs, the user doesn't get access to the Secured roles.

The session_roles doesn't show the assigned secured roles.

To revert to old behavior "_enable_secure_sub_role" (a hidden parameter) need to be enabled.

 

Changes

 From 12.2.0.1 onward, the secure roles (if they are sub-roles) are not enabled (unlike in 12.1) by default. To revert to old behavior "_enable_secure_sub_role" (a hidden parameter) need to be enabled.
