Symptoms
Upgrading Audit Vault form 12.2.0.5 to 12.2.0.6
Received below error message while running the rpm package for BP6.
# rpm -i /root/avdf-pre-upgrade-12.2.0.6.0-1.x86_64.rpm
Checking upgrade preconditions
/bin/df: `/var/dbfw/upgrade': No such file or directory
/bin/df: no file systems processed
AVDF::Installer::Upgrade::InvalidPreconditions
The upgrade found that there was not enough space in '/boot'.
This is because orphan files and unused kernel packages were found.
Ensure the current kernel '4.1.12-94.3.6.el6uek.x86_64' is not included in the
list and then run the following commands to tidy up space in '/boot':
mount /boot
rm /boot/config-2.6.39-400.250.11.el5uek
rm /boot/symvers-2.6.39-400.250.11.el5uek.gz
rm /boot/vmlinuz-2.6.39-400.250.11.el5uek
rm /boot/System.map-2.6.39-400.250.11.el5uek
rm /boot/initrd-2.6.39-400.250.11.el5uek.img
yum erase kernel-uek-4.1.12-61.1.17.el6uek.x86_64
umount /boot
