What is the Issue?

Can you please help to understand and resolve why RMAN is not deleting older backups? This is issue is observed in both primary and ADG.

Recently we have moved to new RMAN catalog and as well as we upgraded in primary to Jan2017 patch level.

We want to keep RECOVERY WINDOW OF 8 DAYS. However I see that we are having RMAN files from 5/8. It was very clean till we moved to new RMAN catalog. Looks like since move to new catalog is what we are seeing issue - looks like timewise.
