Adding Database to Group Fails with FS-10053, FS-10057 (Doc ID 2311538.1)

Symptoms

For the purposes of this document, the following fictitious environment is used as an example to describe the procedure:

Database Name:  ORCL
IPs:  XXX.YY.ZZ.XX, AAA.BB.CC.DD

Adding the database to the group is failing with the following errors:

17:05:20 FS-10376: server1 : Starting configuration of resource orcl
17:05:20 FS-10378: server1 : Preparing for configuration of resource orcl
17:05:20 FS-10350: Starting database orcl
17:05:41 FS-10341: Starting verification of database orcl
17:05:41 FS-10343: Starting verification of database instance information for database orcl
17:05:41 FS-10425: Querying the disks used by the database orcl
17:05:41 FS-10404: The database uses a nonclustered disk in one of the system parameters. Value of parameter is D:\<path>\ORCL\ADUMP
17:05:41 FS-10345: Verification of standalone database orcl completed successfully
17:05:41 FS-10380: server1 : Configuring virtual server information for resource orcl
17:05:41 FS-10490: Configuring the Oracle Net listener for orcl
17:05:41 FS-10053: Failed to read Oracle Net configuration file D:\<oracle_home path>\network\admin\listener.ora on server1
17:05:41 FS-10057: Failed to create the listener resource FslDBCL
17:05:41 FS-10784: The Oracle Database resource provider failed to configure the virtual server for resource orcl
17:05:41 FS-10890: Oracle Services for MSCS failed during the add operation
17:05:41 FS-10497: Starting clusterwide rollback of the operation
17:05:41 FS-10488: server1 : Starting rollback of operation
17:05:41 FS-10215: A compatible default listener could not be found
17:05:41 FS-10600: Oracle Net configuration file updated: D:\<oracle_home path>\network\admin\tnsnames.ora
17:05:41 0x138F: The cluster resource could not be found.

17:05:41 FS-10006: Unable to open the resource FslDBCL
17:05:41 FS-10045: Unable to remove resource FslDBCL from group

17:05:41 FS-10495: Clusterwide rollback of the operation has been completed
17:05:41 The clusterwide operation failed !
