Symptoms
In MySQL Server 5.7.13 through 5.7.17 (both releases included) with a semi-synchronous replication plugin enabled, MySQL crashes when it is attempted to set a JSON audit log filter:
The stack trace is from 5.7.17.
Changes
The issue starts after either:
- Installing a semi-synchronous replication plugin.
- Installing the MySQL Enterprise Audit Log Plugin and enabling the JSON filters.
