Goal

On BDA V4.7, 4.8, and 4.9 the recommended rdma package is rdma-3.10-3.0.31.el6.noarch as is described in Recommended Kernel and Firmware Versions to Avoid Known Issues After Upgrade to BDA V4.7, BDA V4.8, BDA V4.9 (Doc ID 2296538.1).

If the rdma package is upgraded as recommended to rdma-3.10-3.0.31.el6.noarch but there is some requirement to temporarily downgrade the package back to the original installed rdma-3.10-3.0.21.el6.noarch.rpm package do so as below. As soon as it is possible upgrade the rdma package to the recommended rdma-3.10-3.0.31.el6.noarch.rpm as described in
Recommended Kernel and Firmware Versions to Avoid Known Issues After Upgrade to BDA V4.7, BDA V4.8, BDA V4.9 (Doc ID 2296538.1).
