Applies to:

Oracle Net Services - Version to [Release 11.2]
Oracle Solaris on SPARC (64-bit)

a) You may start getting the following errors in the Listener log when making connections, and the listener eventually shuts itself down due to the TNS-01159 "Internal connection limit has been reached...":

*NOTE: The internal Listener queue is limited to 1024 so after 1023 the TNS errors will occur and the 11.2 Listener will likely shut itself down, if the queue keeps backing up.

This may be a new installation of 11.2 on Oracle Solaris with a kernel version of 5.10 Generic_142910-17 i86pc i386 i86pc
