Goal

Configuring and using chain of self-signed certificates with SSL for securing MySQL connections

 

ROOT CA -->> INTERMEDIATE CA -->> SERVER

 

Though this procedure is described for self-signed certificates , but it is similar if actual certificates from certificate providers were used.
