Goal
To provision PDBs in a cloud, you need to decide how to allocate resources to each PDB. This MOS note describes a simple way to create semi-custom PDB configurations, derived from each PDB's CPU_COUNT setting. This methodology greatly simplifies database configuration management at scale. It provides an agile means to implement balanced, holistic PDB sizing changes, by scaling up or down through a single parameter change.
