Symptoms

The following is found in the alert log of a Standalone Database using Local File System (Non-RAC / Non-ASM):

$ORACLE_BASE/diag/rdbms/<SID>/<SID>/trace/alert_<SID>.log

NOTE: remote asm mode is local (mode 0x1; from cluster type)
NOTE: Using default ASM root directory ASM
