MYSQL WORKBECH - MAIN ERROR: Invalid options, MEB would not be able backup encrypted tables (Doc ID 2330667.1)

Symptoms

Configuring MySQL Enterprise Backup

Installed MySQL WorkBench and set up a connection to our MySQL Server. The MEB is installed on the MySQL server and seems to be all working fine.
The MySQL Server is encrypted using TDE. When backing up via WorkBench get a error:

IMPORTANT: Please check that mysqlbackup run completes successfully.
  At the end of a successful 'backup-and-apply-log' run mysqlbackup
  prints "mysqlbackup completed OK!".

170519 00:00:01 MAIN INFO: Encryption password "encrypt-password" not specified.
170519 00:00:01 MAIN ERROR: Invalid options, MEB would not be able backup encrypted tables.

mysqlbackup failed with errors!
170519 00:00:01 MAIN INFO: Setting server system variable 'old_alter_table' back to '0'.
