How to Install / Uninstall Big Data SQL 3.2 on BDA V4.3 to 4.9 Clusters and CDH 5.5 Hadoop Clusters (Doc ID 2333103.1)

Purpose

This document provides details on how to install / uninstall Big Data SQL 3.2 on BDA V4.3 through V4.9 using the Big Data SQL 3.2 installation scripts.  The same method is used on non-BDA CDH 5.5 Hadoop clusters which meet the installation criteria.  See the Big Data SQL Installation Guide 3.2 documentation at for details on install criteria.

Scope

Anyone installing Big Data SQL 3.2 on BDA 4.9 or lower supported versions or non-BDA CDH 5.5 environment using the BDS 3.2 configuration scripts.  This document assumes that all pre-installation tasks have been completed, that the BDS 3.2 Install files have been downloaded and unzipped on the BDA/CDH cluster and that the system is now ready for installation.
