Symptoms

"$ORACLE_HOME/crs/install/rootcrs.sh -init" is introduced in following document to restore grid infrastructure home file permissions in one command.

Doc ID 1931142.1 How to check and fix file permissions on Grid Infrastructure environment

But after running this script on 12.1.0.2 OCWPSU(GIPSU) 170117 or above, owner/group and permission are set incorrectly.

For example, x permission is removed from $ORACLE_HOME/bin/crsctl, and group is modified to root and x permission is removed.

And clusterware fails to start due to lack of x permissions for some files.

Changes

After applying OCWPSU 12.1.0.2.170117(Patch:24917825) or above.
Problem does not happen on OCWPSU 12.1.0.2.161018 (Patch:24412235) or below.
