AFD is not starting automatically after reboot

Red Hat Enterprise Linux Advanced Server x86-64 (AMD Opteron Architecture)

Symptoms

After applying the patch 22717225 AFD is not starting automatically after reboot.
Still need to enable it manually and then clusterware starts fine.

 + AFD logs show:

+The rc scripts are already there

+ AFD.conf file already includes the enable flag
afd.conf:
afd_diskstring='/dev/mapper/*'
afd_filtering=enable

+ OS messages log shows:
