Symptoms

The following error(s) is reported in the alert log:

ORA-8103: object no longer exists

and / or

ORA-600 [ktspfmdb:objdchk_kcbnew_3]

On review of a trace generated at the time of the error, the section 'Current SQL Statement for this session' references a single consumer queue table.

Changes

 Either:

- underlying AQ object index(es) of the queue table were modified/altered in some way such as an ALTER INDEX on AQ$_<queue table>_I.  Operations before the ALTER succeeded, but after the ALTER they fail.

or

- queue table was purged recently
