Symptoms

RMAN backup fails with messages like the following:

RMAN-03002: failure of backup plus archivelog command at 01/08/2018 18:57:46

RMAN-03009: failure of backup command on ORA_DISK_9 channel at 01/08/2018 15:51:52

Error backing up file 277, block 25453: logical corruption

All of the messages pertain to the UNDO tablespace.

Changes

 The software keystore (TDE wallet) was deleted, the TDE primary key was discarded using a hidden system parameter, the keystore was recreated, and a new TDE primary key was set.
