Pre-Upgrade Health Checker for Oracle Big Data Appliance (Doc ID 2356740.1)

Purpose

This note describes the current pre-upgrade Big Data Appliance (BDA) cluster Health Checker tool for collecting and analyzing the dumpcluster, bdacheckcluster, and the status of mysql replication prior to upgrade. The pre-upgrade Health Checker tool puts all errors and warnings into an html report for analysis/review.  This process replaces the previous process of generating a dumpcluster.out file for review.

Download and run the tool on your cluster prior to upgrade and provide the output to Oracle Support via a pre-upgrade SR.
