Symptoms

Corrupt data is returned or an ORA-07445 [LpxMemFree()+227] is generated when working with JSON PL/SQL types introduced in the 12.2: JSON_ELEMENT_T, JSON_OBJECT_T, JSON_ARRAY_T.

Incident trace file shows:

ORA-07445: exception encountered: core dump [LpxMemFree()+227] [SIGSEGV] [ADDR:0x10018] [PC:0x379B473] [Address not mapped to object] []
