Symptoms
Attempt to delete archive logs with RMAN delete command fails with error:
RMAN> delete archivelog from sequence 13086 until sequence 13088 thread 1 backed up 1 times to disk;
RMAN-08138: WARNING: archived log not deleted - must create more backups
