DBCA failing with error "PRKC-1065 : Nodes do not belong to this cluster"

When running dbca, observed below error:-

[AWT-EventQueue-0] [ 2018-03-12 11:26:37.035 ART ] [Cluster.verifyNodeList:1153] nodeList[0]=<node1>.us.oracle.com               

[AWT-EventQueue-0] [ 2018-03-12 11:26:37.035 ART ] [Cluster.verifyNodeList:1153] nodeList[1]=<node2>.us.oracle.com

oracle.ops.mgmt.cluster.InvalidNodeListException: PRKC-1065 : Nodes [<node1>.us.oracle.com, <node2>.us.oracle.com] do not belong to this cluster

at oracle.ops.mgmt.cluster.Cluster.verifyNodeList(Cluster.java:1195)

at oracle.ops.mgmt.cluster.Cluster.isSharedPath(Cluster.java:1024)

at oracle.sysman.assistants.util.ClusterUtils.areSharedPaths(ClusterUtils.java:589)

at oracle.sysman.assistants.util.ClusterUtils.isShared(ClusterUtils.java:500)
