Symptoms
In 12.2 while creating the database using DBCA and response file, it is not picking the DB_NAME from the response file. But it is taking the gdbName for the first 8 characters for db_name:
Example:
Below is defined in response file:
And specify "-gdbName=oracle1_test" in dbca command line.
Then after database is created, db_name is set to "oracle1_", however we expect it to be "oracle1".
