Symptoms
Resource Manager Plan is not working as expected for SWITCH_GROUP =>'KILL_SESSION' on RAC with TAF configuration
While using The following resource plan directive:
SWITCH_GROUP =>'KILL_SESSION',
SWITCH_ELAPSED_TIME=>180,
SWITCH_ESTIMATE=>false,SWITCH_FOR_CALL=>TRUE
SWITCH_ELAPSED_TIME=>180,
SWITCH_ESTIMATE=>false,SWITCH_FOR_CALL=>TRUE
The session fail over to other Node once it reaches the switch time. This happens only if connecting using TAF. For the session connecting directly to local node, it gets killed as expected .
