Applies to:Oracle Exadata Storage Server Software - Version 126.96.36.199.6 to 188.8.131.52.0 [Release 12.1 to 12.2]

- Exadata X6-2 storage cells running F320 flashcards with firmware version KPYAIR3Q
- Storage cells experience frequent flash disk confinements under high workload conditions
When the flashcache is configured in writeback mode, the flashdisk offline trigger a re-silvering operation to sync the cached grid disks. This may expose the system to Exadata critical issue EX42 (Bug 27372426) which introduces ASM metadata corruption during the re-silvering operation.
