SSL and Native Encryption: Option for Creating Separate Listener with Separate Environment-Standalone Only
(Doc ID 2394198.1)
Last updated on MARCH 31, 2022
Applies to:
Oracle Net Services - Version 12.2.0.1 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Important note: This document is not applicable to RAC or any situation where dynamic registration of the service is required.
The instructions here work only for a statically defined handler in the SID_DESC section of a listener.ora file. One of the
listener ENV configurations can be dynamically registered. (SSL or Native Encryption) However, the other ENV (SSL or Native Encryption)
would be statically defined in the listener.ora file.
The ENVS parameter is not supported on Windows. Any process spawned by the listener will simply inherit the listener's environment.
