Precompilers (Pro*C/Pro*COBOL) issue duplicate bind variables wrongly to the database when the same placeholder is used repeatedly in one SQL.
An example of a SQL is like below; 'employee_no' is the name of a placeholder and is used repeatedly.
This behavior affects an execution plan generated from the optimizer, so that this can cause a performance problem.
