Symptoms
It is not possible to log into Cloudera Manager.
1. The Cloudera Manager server log on the CM host, Node 3 by default on the BDA, /var/log/cloudera-scm-server/cloudera-scm-server.log reports:

com.mysql.jdbc.exceptions.jdbc4.MySQLNonTransientConnectionException: No operations allowed after connection closed. ]
which will not be reported to listeners!
