ORA-00600: internal error code, arguments: [17147] on Exadata Cell Server alert log (Doc ID 2401591.1)

Symptoms

 

Customer recently upgraded Cell server software to 12.2.1.1.6 with Jan 2018 quarterly full stack bundle patch (QFSBP) applied.

Kernel version: 4.1.12-94.7.8.el6uek.x86_64 #2 SMP Thu Jan 11 20:41:01 PST 2018 x86_64

Cell version: OSS_12.2.1.1.6_LINUX.X64_180125.1

Cell rpm version: cell-12.2.1.1.6_LINUX.X64_180125.1-1.x86_64

Active image version: 12.2.1.1.6.180125.1 <<<<<<<<<<<===========

Active image kernel version: 4.1.12-94.7.8.el6uek

Active image created: 2018-01-26 12:36:18 +0000

After patching observed frequent ORA-00600: internal error code, arguments: [17147] errors in Cell server alert log. But no impact observed from application side or there was no impact on any functionality due to this error.

 Customer recently upgraded Cell server software to 12.2.1.1.6 with Jan 2018 quarterly full stack bundle patch (QFSBP) applied and did upgrade from 12.1.2.3.7.171012 (Oct-2017)
