Disk addition to High redundancy diskgroup reporting ORA-15291 (Doc ID 2402224.1)

Symptoms

After the storage failure, 2 disks were dropped from the diskgroup out of 3 disks, to retrieve the redundancy tried to add the disk to high redundancy diskgroup reporting below error.

SQL> alter diskgroup OCR_VOTE add failgroup OCR_VOTE_0001 disk '/dev/oracleasm/disks/OCR_DISK2' force 

NOTE: Assigning number (3,1) to disk (/dev/oracleasm/disks/OCR_DISK2)

ORA-15032: not all alterations performed
ORA-15291: ASM could not add disk "OCR_VOTE_0001" to disk group "OCR_VOTE"

ERROR: alter diskgroup OCR_VOTE add failgroup OCR_VOTE_0001 disk '/dev/oracleasm/disks/OCR_DISK2' force

Changes

OCR/VOTE diksgroup created as High redundancy diskgroup with 5 failgroups/disks. 

Out of Five disks, Four disks are missing and are dropped forcefully after exceeding DISK_REPAIR_TIME.
