Symptoms

Navigator Audit Server raises errors like below:

Error persisting events for service hive
org.hibernate.exception.GenericJDBCException: error executing work
at org.hibernate.exception.internal.StandardSQLExceptionConverter.convert(StandardSQLExceptionConverter.java:54)
at org.hibernate.engine.jdbc.spi.SqlExceptionHelper.convert(SqlExceptionHelper.java:125)

at org.mortbay.io.nio.SelectChannelEndPoint.run(SelectChannelEndPoint.java:410)

Caused by: java.sql.BatchUpdateException: Packet for query is too large (21911650 > 19922944). You can change this value on the server by setting the max_allowed_packet' variable.
