Symptoms

Creating database using a custom template is failing with "SEVERE: [FATAL] java.lang.NullPointerException". This is reproducible in Linux and Windows machines.

Changes

Template used to create the database was created using 11g database. It was successfully used for 11g and with 12.1 version. But failing with 12.2 dbca.
