Upgrade Path to Get from Older Versions of BDA Mammoth to BDA Mammoth 4.12.0 (Doc ID 2417895.1)

Last updated on JANUARY 28, 2020

Applies to:

Big Data Appliance Integrated Software - Version 2.0 to 4.12.0 [Release 2.0 to 4.10]
Linux x86-64

To provide a reference on upgrade paths when going from an older version of Mammoth 2.x, 3.x, v4.x to Mammoth 4.12.0.

Generally you can upgrade to 4 releases higher at a time. And when multiple upgrades are required the recommendation is to go to highest version possible each time and minimize the number of upgrades to get to the required version.

ACS, System Administrator, or Hadoop Administrator.
