Oracle Text Query Is Failing After 12.2 Upgrade (Doc ID 2427440.1)

Symptoms

After upgrade to 12.2, the following Oracle text query is failing -

SQL> select /*+ FIRST_ROWS */ termid,term,displayname,author_usage,showlocuslink,locuslinks,showecocyc, ecocyc,disambiguation,synonyms from termnames where contains(context, '(({allowable_effector}) within allsuperclasses ) and (sax% within pattern)') > 0
  2 ;
