Symptoms
In a CDB of a multitenant environment, where OLAP had been successfully installed and VALID for some time, the OLAP component is suddenly showing as OPTION OFF in the CDB_REGISTRY (or DBA_REGISTRY). If you have PDBs with the OLAP option installed, you may not be able to open them anymore, or they may not open unrestricted. While this may also happen for other components, this note addresses only the solution for OLAP.
