DBCA Network Configuration Screen Shows RDBMS Home For Listener Instead Of Grid Infrastructure Home (Doc ID 2429414.1)

Symptoms

 


When running DBCA as oracle  user from the database home to create a database the network configuration screen shows the listener having the database home instead of the Grid Infrastructure home. From 11.2 listeners should be running from Grid Infrastructure home and not the database home.

 



 ps -ef | grep tns
grid 13308 1 0 11:10 ? 00:00:00 /opt/grid/product/12102/grid/bin/tnslsnr LISTENER -no_crs_notify -inherit       <<<<<<<<< Listener running from Grid Infrastructure home.
