Symptoms
Oracle Database 11.2.0.4:
ALTER SYSTEM SET ENCRYPTION KEY fails with "ORA-03113: end-of-file on communication channel" and disconnects the user session.
However, the wallet file (ewallet.p12) is created on the filesystem.
The command causes the database to coredump with ORA-7445 [kzthsmgmk()+652] and shut down.
Changes
Reverse migration of the wallet from HSM to filesystem was performed (in an unsupported manner).
