Symptoms
A SQL statement that used to complete in less than one minute on the primary database takes about fifteen minutes to complete on the Standby DB.
High 'latch: row cache objects' is observed on a standby database when running queries in parallel. This does not happen when the query runs in serial mode.
The contention looks to be occurring among the parallel secondary for no good reason as this database is read-only.
